On a 2002 Honda Accord, what does it mean if the SRS light stays on on the dashboard display?

If you want to avoid the dealer then you will have to see a good Auto Electrician as they will have the gear to clear the code or atleast tell you what is required to repair it.|||It means there is a problem in the supplemental restraint system (airbag, seat belts...) As long as that light is on the Airbags are NOT working! You don,t need to go to the dealer .Most good repair shops can work on them. Good luck.
