How do I fix my SRS panel problem? My cruise/horn work, but then they dont, then will work 2 minutes later.?

Ever since my SRS light has came on, my cruise or horn dont work. but sometimes when i start my car they will work but then a minute later it wont. Someone said it was the Clockspring. If so.. how do i fix that?|||replacing the clockspring is what you need and the replacement should be done by a professional who is familiar with air bag technology. first disconnect the battery and wait for about 20 minutes. the drivers airbag, steering wheel, and column covers must be pulled. the clock spring is centered when you buy it so prior to pulling any parts off, your front wheels should be straight ahead or close to it. be very careful. if you set the airbag off, its like a 1/4 stick of dynamite going off and can kill you.|||Most likely it has a clockspring problem especially with the horn and cruise also failing. The clockspring is mounted under the steering wheel on top of the turn signal switch in most cars. Unless you are sure of this procedure ,I would take it to a reputable repair shop and explain to them the symptoms. They will probably still want to perform diagnostics on it, but that would be better than guessing at the problem. Clockspring on a chrysler product can be about $125.00 plus labor of about 1.5 hours. Should not cost much more than $300.00 or so.

Hope this helps
