Can SRS airbags be installed in a 89 mark vii?

This was a great car until I realized that it didn't come standard with airbags until the early 90's, is it possible to install airbags in a 89 lincoln mark vii, if so what is required, how would I go about doing it?|||Technically, given enough money and time you can do anything you want with any car out there. However, this is the kind modification every require so many parts and so many hours of labor that you would come out thousands of dollars ahead just to trade up. Better yet, just wear your seatbelt, the SRS systems have a bad habit of putting the people they are supposed to protect, into a hospital.|||Yes............the cost would be around $6000.00 dollars.

Parts needed...........

Airbags

Airbag module

Airbag sensors

New steering wheel

New or cut out passengers side dash for airbag

ECM controller

Wire harness

Relays

A lot of labor

|||Anything can be done for a price that is a old junk are you sure you want to invest that much in it.|||The cost of the airbag assemblies would exceed the value of the car.
