You've been in one accident. Who to say you won't be in another?

As simple as waiting at a stop light (sign) and someone else doesn't stop and rear ends you.

You have no safety restraint/supplemental restraints what so ever. No airbags and no seat belts from what I gather from your question.

Is your life, and possibly the lives of anyone you may have in your vehicle worth the risk of driving the automobile without your safety equipment working?

Would you jump out of an airplane without a parachute because you had to send it off to be repaired?

I am almost sure that it is illegal in all States without seat belts.

If you were to drive and get into another accident and were injured without working safety equipment, you stand a VERY good chance of not being covered by either your or the other person's insurance for your own negligence.

If you are a legally licensed driver I imagine, so you are a "responsible grown adult" who should make the right decision. But in the end you are a grown (wo)man and you should already no the answer to your question.
