How can I find a surgeon to perform my SRS in the USA?

I have been living full time now as a female for a year and a half. My goal is to have my SRS by the time I am 45 years old.





Any help in how I go about finding a surgeon in my area would be greatly appreciated.|||Hey! I had my surgery when I was 45!





You basically only have 3 choices in North America:

I would not suggest seeing anyone else (in North America anyways).











Do NOT decide on a surgeon simply because of proximity! Go with the one you believe most qualified and whose philosophy you agree with. This is major surgery and you only get ONE chance at a good outcome, so choose wisely. I would also consult with others who have been there and done that. http://forum.beginninglifeforums.com|||i dont know about the usa but a while ago there was a prrogram on about srs and theres one of the best clinics in the world in trinidad or somewhere like that, its easier there because there aren't so many rule and restrictions. their main surgen actualy went through the surgery and she is the most convincing natural looking transexual i have ever seen it was on so long ago though that i cant remember the name of the hospital so im sorry i can't be of more help|||I agree with Radgal.

Woman Born Transsexual|||There must be a local LGBT group in your area. They will usually be able to point you in the right direction. Are you going to therapy? and on HRT? if so your own doctor or therapist should be able to refer you. Make sure you check them out or ask to talk to people thy have treated.
