I have a 2001 honda accord and the light just came on out of no where dont know what it means.|||srs is the airbag system, if its on it means there's a problem with it and it may not function in the event of crash. The other reason could be that you have put a baby chair on the front seat and the airbag system is disabled due to that (seatbelt always on)
to be sure take your car to the mech,|||SRS is the airbag system.
It has detected SOMETHING is wrong. The light does NOT say what is wrong. It doesn't matter as only REAL certified airbag technician should work on them.
Because of the possibility of the air bag deploying (exploding) during the repair, it should NOT be attempted by you or any amateur.
Take it to the dealer.
