I am selling my Honda Accord, but the SRS light is coming just came on 2 days ago, i know it means something with the airbags, but the car has never been in a accident, what could i tell the potential buyers, that ask about the srs, how much will it cost to get it fixed, or could they just bring somewhere to get it switched off?|||On these cars, the SRS light comes on to force you to take the car into the dealer for inspection of the air bag system.
Find any local mechanic with a good scan tool and most can clear the code turning the light off.
Sometimes if you leave the battery cable off for a bit,(around a half hour), it will go out. Not a guarantee but I have seen it done before. Good Luck.|||take it to a dealer
