How do you turn your SRS light off if it was triggered by the weight sensor in the seat?

2000 accord|||Only way I know of is the lift the sill plate. There should be a plug under there that you can disconnect.

My wife hit a deer the other day, and besides the body damage both front seat belt pretensioners fired off. When that happens the seat belt plugs have to be pulled to prevent the airbags from going off when they tow the car.

In such a system the seat belt assemblies must be replaced at $500.00 per side.|||After a few miles of driving, it should reset itself.

Check your owners manual if it doesn't.

Hope this helps|||Disconnect the sensor for that seat. Should be accessible from underneath the seat. Unless it's a power seat, the connector you find is for the SRS system.
