I have a 94 acura SRS 2-dr coupe, is ther another name for my car?

im curious because ive heard other people talking about rsx, or grs, but never srs and in my manual, it plainly says srs (along with my steering wheel) LOL ...curious|||SRS is the acronym for "Supplemental Restraint System", the air bags. In the US, your car is known as an Acura RSX. It came as a base car with a 160 HP engine with either a 5 speed manual or 5 speed automatic and a type S with a 200 HP engine and a 6 speed manual.|||thats the name of yours|||HAHAHA...the SRS is the electrical airbag..|||RSX is the name of your car in the US. In Japan, they may still call it the Integra (but I think they changed that recently).

SRS is Supplemental Restraint System|||umm SRS is Supplemental Restraint System, there is the Integra RS ,LS ,SE, GS, GSR, Type-R, and for the 02+ models Type-S for USDM and Type-R for JDM. im curious to see what your looking at take a pic of it. as for rim size stock is 14 %26amp; 15 in on most of the models

its still integra in japan and in the US until 02 then its the RSX(US) but still a part of the integra family... and your car isnt an RSX since its a 94'|||Lol SRS is your airbags.

Now your car has alot of names. In North America, we call these awesome cars "Acura" Integras. But outside North America, primarily Japan, they call them "Honda" Integras. Why you may ask? Because Acura is the luxury version of a Honda. So they are made by the same company.

And the 02+ models of the "INTEGRA" are called Acura RSX here, and they are called Honda INTEGRA (caps) outside America.

And your close, not grs. It's GS-R. GS-R is the VTEC equipped integra.

Your Integra is probably a B18B1 non-VTEC (no vtec :( ) 142hp @ 7000RPM redline. It's a DC4, and its either an RS, LS, SE or GS.

The GS-R is the VTEC integra. Or the higher trim. It has a B18C1 DOHC VTEC 170HP @ 8000RPM redline. And the chassis for this is a DC2.

and then theres the type-R. Which has a B18C5 DOHC VTEC 195HP @ 8200RPM redline.

So some names for an integra is...

Honda INTEGRA - Outside North America

DC4 - if you have an RS, LS, SE, GS; Non VTEC

DC2 - If you have a GS-R or Type-R; DOHC VTEC

DB7 - a 4 door non-VTEC LS, SE, GS

DB8 - 4 door DOHC VTEC GS-R; Type-R

-----------------------

DC5 - Acura RSX/Honda INTEGRA Type-R

And your size rims are either 14 or 15. Usually their 15". You can easily tell by your tires. So if you have some spare time, read your tire. It'll tell you by the numbers. You know, 195/55R/15 for example are on my Integra GS-R.

You see, the 15; the last number is your wheel size. If you had 16" itll be something like 205/55R/16

17" - 205/55R/17 and so on.

I hope i helped. :)

*EDIT* Your teg isnt tech. an RSX because INTEGRAs in the US were from 94-01. Outside North Ameirca there still called Integras; Aka RSX (02+) Sorry for the confusion.

Other nicknames are..

Teg

Teggy

Tegra

bug eyes (the USDM fronts)
